Default Telephonics Integrated Telephony Ltd

You may - or may not - be aware, that Telephonics Integrated Telephony are not actually based at 40-49 Price Street in Birmingham, but operate from premises in Castle Vale, not far from Castle Bromwich, where the MD lives. You are not the first, and certainly will not be the last to have had this type of problem. A case file is being dealt with by Trading Standards at the moment and the company is likely to be closed down. If you want assistance, please post your company name and contact telephone number, and I will arrange for someone to contact you who can help you. It is probable that the terms of the agreement you actually signed are DIFFERENT to those that Telephonics claim you agreed to.

Default Personal Details...Advice

Much as we are grateful for any help anyone offers please be very careful who you give any personal information to.
Never put personal telephone numbers on a Forum
or give anything away that may allow someone to find out your identity....
I am sure most people in the world are very honest and just want to help but that is not always the case. People are not always who they appear to be.

(No offence Mike Parker this is just a general warning. Thank you for the information about Telephonics.)

Our company (small family run buissness in bristol) also are facing problem's with telephonics, have you yet resolved your problem.
we are being told that we are breaking our contract because we have moved premises and changed telephones back to bt beacaue we could not keep our old number due to area code change.

we have written to them about this many times, wishing to cancel any further contacts and feel they are trying to con us into continuing to a new contract.

we are still paying for there services even though we cant use them. our contract is up soon and we do not wish to stay with them obviosly.

is it me or are they out of order ?

Default telephonics

Please do not get me started about this company, I took out a contract with them in 2006 when I undertook alot of work from home, and to be fair to Telephonics provided extremely competitve call tariffs. In fact i was getting 0.9p for all local and national calls.

I decided to leave them in 2007 when I moved into offices, but decided to keep them on for my residential line. I then found that my bills over the year we in fact getting higher and higher, even though I was making minimal phone calls. Despite emailing them, and ringing them on many occassions, and getting into some rather heated debates with a chap there called Gary Winterton, who apparently drives a bentley!!!, knowbody ever returned my calls.

When I called them back I have now been told that the calls have increased due to the tariff applied to my acount increasing to double the amount I had originally had in place,
this was without my authorisation. I was then told via telephonics and Gary Winterton that they were within their rights to increase tariffs without informing the client.

I have since told them that I am intending to leave them and join another provider and are now playing silly buggers, and have cancelled my lines completely.
If anybody can provide asistance with this, i would be more than happy to know of how I can rectify the problem?

We have still hve not resolved our problems with Telephonics, we have raised a complaint with Otelo as Telephonics is a member, they have taken on our case, So you could give them a ring, the fact that they already have a complaint raised against this company may help both of us its free to you Telephonics have to pay if they agree to investigate
Good luck!!!

hello i'm also new to this forum, and what made me register was your message about telephonics. I've been with them for a few years and now wish to change cannot remember signing any contract asked for a copy today but apparently they are not kept in this country, so at the moment waiting to see if they will send me one. They told me yesterday that it could cost me £900 to get out. originally over the phone they told me they only needed 28 days notice but this was 3 months ago. thier attitude when you speak to them on the phone is disgracful they do not deserve anybodies business. If we do eventually get a contract i'm going to get some legal advice about them. Why should any firm be able to blackmail people like this. I've already made a complaint with off tel and next week i shall be getting intouch Otelo. Its nice to now that i'm not alone with this problem with this vile company.

Hello David

They did the same thing to our company, I phoned daily for a copy of our contract for weeks, they kept changing the dates they quoted me, they would not send a hard copy, they were very rude, I took our complaint to Otelo and they have just ruled in our favor although Telephonic do have 28 days to appeal, so may be it would be a good time for you to talk to Otelo as they already a complaint pending!!!! Good Luck
